Role:
As an Engineering Manager, you will report directly to the Director of Engineering Risk and Payments and you’ll work with Payments Engineering Manager. As a member of the engineering management team, you will participate actively in management meetings, lead some initiatives, and take part in a range of activities to improve the wider department, including recruitment, mentoring and evolving our software engineering practices.
Key responsibilities and duties:

Your role is to maintain a motivated team. At the individual level, so that each person can perform well in his/her position, progress and grow.
define the team and individual goals and conduct performance reviews.
Make sure you understand the product roadmap and involve yourself and your team in understanding the product developed and technologies used by your team
Provide reports which reflects the current state and progress of work
Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with management and stakeholders
Participate in the building and the improvement of the tech visio/engineering process beyond your operational perimeter.
Profile:
Master’s degree in engineering
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in software engineering and 5 years as a Manager
Driven individual with high level of commitment for excellence
Management and leadership (people) skills - Team Player
Working experience in an Agile environment
Working experience in international context, across time zones
Ability to multi-task and identify project management problems and identify how solutions offered can resolve those problems.
technology stack preferred : Java (JPA, Spring), relational databases, Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes
Fluency in English is required. Excellent written and verbal communication
Experience in Finance / Payments Solutions is a plus
