Team structure:
The development team is located in Paris and Warsaw. The project is stable, has well-defined processes and challenging tasks. Continuous improvements and Innovations are always welcome. The development processes are Agile SCRUM/KANBAN based.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Test analysis: actively participate in the backlog refinement ceremonies with the developers and Product Owners to review the requirements and challenge the acceptance criteria/test conditions.
Test conception and implementation: from the acceptance criteria, create and maintain the test cases and test procedures to ensure sufficient test coverage based on risk
Test execution and automation during in-sprint activities: system and acceptance tests
Help the team adopt new automation tools
Investigate, debug and fix failing automated tests in the CI as they come
Reproduce failures, create non-regression tests to cover the functionality containing the defect
Report and communicate progress on the testing activities of the team
Coordinate with developers, Product Owners, and other team members to deliver a high-quality product
Be an ambassador of quality assurance within the team
Qualifications:
4+ years experience with web applications QA, API testing, automated tests and test analysis
Strong knowledge of testing techniques/methodologies and ability to apply them in practice
Experience with tools like Postman/Newman, Playwright (javascript)
Good understanding of software development processes
Writing testware (test cases in a test management tool, checklists, bug reports)
Analytical and problem solving skills
Experience with Defect Management tools (e.g.: JIRA)
Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written
