The Role:

 

As a Kyriba network engineer, you'll be responsible for managing Kyriba’s global network operations and services. Ensure the up time of services and appliances across Corp. IT and Cloud Operation data centers. You will also be working with NetOps teams with ongoing network projects, initiatives, routine day-to-day tasks, major quarterly projects, participation in on-call shifts and resolving incidents.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-level troubleshooting and analysis to resolve root cause when network outages.

  • Isolate hardware and software problems on network devices (Firewall, Switches, Router) and work with vendors to resolve issues as necessary.

  • Perform proactive network audits to help strategize software/firmware rollouts across the entire fleet.

  • Improve documentation processes.

  • Work collaboratively with NetOps teams to identify ways in which we can proactively improve the stability of the network and decrease potential for future outages.

    Required skills:

  • Experience with leading network vendors providers

  • Proficiency in Linux

  • TCP/DNS/DHCP

  • Understanding VMware ESXi hypervisor

  • Maintain routers, switches, and firewalls

  • VLANS, OSPF, BGP, Link Aggregation, Site-to-site VPNs,

  • SNMP and network monitoring

  • Applying firewall security policy

  •  

     

    Preferred Skills 

  • Linux CentOS & RHEL, Windows Servers

  • EKS and Route53

  • Ansible and Terraform, GitOps

  • Public Cloud (AWS and Azure)

  • Juniper products and experience (MX, SRX, EX, QFX platforms)

  • Palo Alto Firewalls
