What’s the job? What you’ll be doing:Purpose of the roleWorking within the Business Intelligence Centre of Excellence, the role involves collaboration with business teams across our different European markets to understand and analyse their needs and define detailed dashboard requirements.
- Work with business teams to capture high level dashboard requirements: capture user stories, benefits, objectives and key results (OKRs)
- Coordinate the wireframing process with business users by identifying data fields, KPIs, analysis views, historical data needs and non-functional requirements
- Ongoing agile management of business requirements backlog and supporting prioritisation discussions with stakeholders
- Support product owners in running and occasionally leading the weekly calls with business leads from each of the Kingfisher operating companies (banners). Developing the agenda, managing notes and actions, presentation of topics for alignment discussions
- Documentation of common key performance indicators (KPIs) including securing alignment between banners
- Input to delivery planning within the Centre of Excellence and ensuring that timelines are regularly communicated to stakeholders via status updates, identifying/escalating risks and issues
- Coordination of user acceptance testing (UAT). Agreeing test approach and plan including securing end user commitment to support test activities. Reporting of test status
- Support adoption: intranet site, stakeholder comms, managing user feedback and follow on actions
- Work closely with BI developers to understand and assist with the creation of their solution design, ensuring they deliver a solution that meets the business requirements
What you’ll bring What experience you’ll bring:Minimum Requirements - Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in a business analysis role or similar scope of responsibilities
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Project management experience and knowledge of tools (Jira)
- Stakeholder management skills
- A result-orientated mindset with an eye for detail and a passion for reporting & data analytics
- Good written skills with the ability to produce clear, detailed and accurate documentation. Experience of creating process flows would be beneficial
- Experience of delivering in an agile framework
- Confident and concise communication skills
- Good communications skills in English (both spoken and written)
Desirable Requirements - Previous experience of working in retail / FMCG environment would be beneficial
- Experience of working within a data orientated team
- Experience of working in a multi-national organisation with CoE / shared service organisation model
- French language communications skills in would be advantageous
