📌 About the Role

As a Tech Lead, you will lead a team of engineers, work closely with product managers and designers, and ensure that engineering decisions align with business impact and user needs.

You will be at the forefront of technical strategy and execution, ensuring that the team balances scalability, performance, and user experience while delivering high-quality software solutions. You will report directly to the CTO.

Technical Leadership & Execution

As a Tech Lead, you will be responsible for managing and mentoring a team of engineers while ensuring the execution of the technical roadmap in alignment with product and business needs. You will play a crucial role in making technical decisions, guaranteeing system scalability, and maintaining high availability in production environments. You will also be responsible for managing reporting, maintaining project transparency, and refining development processes to accelerate delivery cycles.

Reliability & Monitoring

You will take full ownership of production monitoring, incident management, and system reliability. This includes proactively identifying and resolving potential issues before they impact users. You will implement robust observability practices, ensuring a stable and resilient infrastructure that supports continuous product growth.

Collaboration & Strategic Impact

You will work closely with the Product Manager and CTO to align engineering efforts with business objectives, ensuring that development priorities drive value for users and the company. You will define and track key performance metrics, ensuring technical solutions contribute effectively to the overall product strategy.

Continuous Improvement & Engineering Excellence

Your expertise in full-stack development will drive continuous improvement in frontend and backend interactions, optimizing performance, maintainability, and developer efficiency. You will also oversee reporting, ensure project transparency, and refine engineering workflows to accelerate high-quality delivery cycles.

⚙️ Preferred Experience and Skills

• 10+ years of experience in your field.

• Proven experience working in startups, scale-up or fast-paced environments.

• Proven expertise in backend development in Symfony/PHP and Go with a strong understanding of clean code, software design, and AI tool such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, etc…

• Experience designing and building scalable services.

• Hands-on experience with databases such as Postgres, Elastic search, or Neo4J

• Familiarity with git and containerization technologies like Docker.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a pragmatical approach.

• Demonstrated experience with Lean methodologies, Kanban and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
