The APAC region is one of our fastest growing markets for the past 12 months. We count among our clients some of the most well-known APAC law firms (Zhong Lun, Yulchon, Nishimura & Asahi, …), several APAC governments (India, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, …) and big corporations, as well as most of the top global law firms with offices in Asia (Dentons, Freshfields, Peter & Kim, etc.),

We are looking for a self-motivated business & strategic leader to expand Jus Mundi in the region. You will report to the Head of Sales and the CEO, and have a real impact on the future of the company.

This position is a unique opportunity to build a business on your own and gain entrepreneurial experience. It’s a challenging but rewarding role!

It is based in Singapore.

Missions

  • Lead and expand Jus Mundi revenues in the APAC region, from law firms, and corporate/governments legal departments.

  • Develop and oversee the execution of a strategic APAC vision and operation plan, including strategic communications that support and advance Jus Mundi overall purpose, vision, and mission.

  • Represent Jus Mundi in the APAC region and ensure the coordination of Jus Mundi-led activities within the local legal community.

  • Manage the end to end sales process from origination strategy and opportunity creation through to closure (prospection and qualification of leads, demonstration of Jus Mundi’s benefits to potential clients, management of the sales process and negotiation).

  • Lead a cross-functional team that will support the development of Jus Mundi in APAC.

  • Develop, sustain, and deepen collaboration with arbitral institutions, courts, governments & international organizations.

  • Establish and manage the annual budget covering Jus Mundi activities in APAC.


Preferred experience

💼 Your Profile

  • Minimum 7 years experience in both legal industry, preferably in arbitration, and business development. Experience as an attorney, within an arbitral institution or a government department is a bonus. Experience in maritime arbitration is a bonus.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a leadership role. Experience in the legal tech industry and experience in owning & managing P&L is a bonus.
  • Demonstrated experience in communicating with diverse audiences, including lawyers, in-house counsel, government representatives and institutional members.
  • Outstanding strategic, communication and interpersonal skills. A strong network is required.
  • Jus Mundi is a highly diverse company. You should be empathic and comfortable working with people from different cultural backgrounds.
  • You are also autonomous, proactive, rigorous, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and team management skills. You have the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities under pressure with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Fluent English and Chinese (Mandarin). Proficiency in French or other languages would be an asset.
  • 1 month onboarding in Paris. Regular business travels to Paris and around the APAC region.
  • Right to work in Singapore.
