What you’ll do:

• With impulses from other teams and brainstorming sessions, you will investigate data-related topics, crunch relevant data from our own dataset, find useful information on the web and finally create rich interactive or still visualizations.
• You will have to understand the needs of your audience to adapt your work since these data stories could be targeted to Jow employees, Press, Social Networks, or the brands and providers we work with.
• You will be on the lookout for the latest trends in data visualization and technologies used.
• Occasionally help other teams enhance their keynotes and general presentations by adding high-impact data insights.

Ideal profile:

• You are highly organized and rigorous. You are independent but not afraid to ask.
• You have a serious experience as an infographist, a Data Journalist, a Data Visualization expert or any related position, and you have a sizable portfolio to share with us.
• You are skilled in both data crunching and interactive visualization (JS, processing).
• Curious! We work on very different tasks and with diverse people. You are eager to know more about mobile apps, recipes or retail.
• Humble - you’re skilled but eager to learn! Here at Jow, we are united and listen to each other. The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

• First interview with the team to talk about you, Jow, and the position itself.
• This will be followed by a technical test.
• Lunch with the team: we want you to be happy to see our teamates every morning, so one of the very first thing we check is the cultural fit. We have a “no brilliant jerk” rule. Being nice, cool and humble is as mandatory as being good at what you do ;-)
