The position

Job description

As a FP&A Analyst, you will play a vital role in managing and optimizing our financial performance. You work closely with all the countries in one geographic area to bring performance analysis and accurate estimates for strategic growth.

Financial Planning:

  • You review monthly performance (full P&L) for your scope of responsibilities by:

  • Preparing impactful overview of your area including risks and opportunities

  • Focusing and challenging KPI (AOT, TO, gross margin and operating profit)

  • Controlling your costs (payroll, general expenses, and central costs)

Budget planning and estimates:

  • You take part in the Budget phase including kick-off, drop-in sessions and setting of P&L targets per region.

  • You collaborate with the countries CFOs to validate the final version of the budget.

  • You track all the variances and give recommendations to get budget back in line.

  • You build your own estimates on Top and challenge the local ones.

Performance Business Analysis:
On a day-to-day basis, you are:

  • The key contact for all regional and country CFO to explain group policies and requirements and ensure compliance.

  • The cost keeper with specific focus on payroll, headcounts, and all related concerns (attrition, retention, restructuring costs…) to meet the Budget guidance.

  • Lead revenue analysis to identify risks and opportunities for maximizing revenue recognition.

  • You contribute to the five-year plan submission once a year and various business & financial analyses.

Finance Business Partnering:

  • You are a key business partner for Top Management and give insights for your scope of responsibilities.

  • You complete various analyses to support Investor Relations, or Ipsos Committees (Group Management Committee, Strategy and ESG Committee…).

  • You participate to transversal and special projects on an ad-hoc basis.


Preferred experience

  • You are fluent in English

  • You have 5/7 years of experience, ideally started by years in Big 4 or equivalent Audit firm or as a FP&A Analyst / Controller in a multinational corporation.

  • You are agile, high level of autonomy, team player in dynamic environment, curious, proactive, mentally flexible, looking for self-improvement.

  • You have strong technical and analytical skills.
