The position

Job description

We are scaling the Product team and are looking for passionate Product Analysts to join us. As a Product Analyst, you’ll use data to shape InMemori’ products growth and business strategy.

You’ll create insights that drive strategic decisions for the product team that you are in - identifying growth opportunities, understanding product performance, user behavior, and defining metrics to guide the product/business.

Your missions

1. Ambassador of our data-driven mindset

Generally speaking, as the 1st member of the data team (with our COO), you will be the guarantor of the accessibility, exhaustivity and consistency of data.

You spread a “data-driven” vision amongst other teams and give them the tools and keys to perform analysis.

Which means you will :

  • Create and update the analytical tools to make sure the data is exhaustive, correct and available for the whole team both in France and America.
  • Update these metrics on a weekly basis and highlight all the trend changes so that the Managers can adjust their actions.
  • Understand and list the needs of the different teams (Product, Tech, Support, Business Development).
  • Create for them the appropriate dashboards and reporting so that they can be empowered and autonomous data-wise.
  • Create ready-to-use reporting templates for the Business Development and Support teams.
  • Deliver ad hoc analysis each time a new question arises and deliver clear and understandable answers to the Managers.

2. Product Analysis

More specifically, as a Product Analyst, you’ll own and manage the growth KPIs and success metrics in collaboration with our CPO and the product team. The role includes working cross-functionally to create and communicate key insights, influence key decisions and offer recommendations to the Managers.
Other than this you will:

  • Follow-up on a daily basis use metrics (conversion, funnel analysis, transactional metrics…).
  • Provide weekly, monthly insights, strategic analysis, and opportunities for the team to act on and inform product direction.
  • Ensure data tracking and A/B testing is in place for relevant experiments that are going live / is live.
  • Ensure team is informed about the current performance of activation and growth experiments, contextualize strategies to understand success or failure.
  • Understand user-behavioral drivers of product performance to shape how to grow InMemori products in specific markets.

3. Business Intelligence

Product and business are intrinsically bound together. Hence, working hand in hand with our COO, you will help to:

  • Create and update on a monthly basis the tools to track the actual company business performance vs. the forecast.
  • Update and improve financial reporting tools: 5Y BP, investors boards, monthly feed for InMemori’s stakeholders.

Human skills

  • You are organised and like to solve complex problems by turning them into simple sub-problems.
  • You have a Product / UX sensitivity.
  • You know how to present your results clearly and simply, both orally and in writing.
  • Impact is one of your driver and you like to bring up new solutions.
  • You are dynamic, curious and clever.

Technical skills

  • You have great analytical skills and strong sense of logics.
  • You master data tools: SQL (database queries), MongoDB.
  • You are familiar with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Amplitude or Mixpanel…
  • You master data visualization tools: knowledge of Tableau is a plus.

Background

  • Bac + 5: engineering school / business school / statistics…
  • Previous experience as Product Manager, Data Analyst, in a finance position or as a consultant.
