The position

Job description

GENERAL MISSION : 

Reporting to the Export Market Director, the Export Training Manager M/F is responsible for the implementation and deployment of training plans for the Perfume & Beauty axes for the following area:

Regional Scope : EUROPE, position based in Paris

Nature of Market : Export Markets – all distribution channels including Hermès Stores.

The Export Training Manager M/F is also responsible for the relaying of product information and the quality of execution of any training event within his/her scope.


9-months fixed term contract to be filled as soon as possible
 

RELATIONS / SPECIFICITES / CONTEXT :

Internal Relations :

  • Direct relationship with the Market Director: Export Markets
  • Working closely with the European Training Manager
  • Direct key contact and partner with the EU Training Managers and the International Training team
  • In daily contact with the Area Managers and Operational Marketing Manager
  • Belonging to the One Europe Retail community

External Relations :

  • Direct key contact and partner with the agent distributor training teams.
  • Agencies and service providers for the creation of tools, face-to-face training, e-learning and/or events
  • Personalised Spaces Europe Team

40% travel to be expected in the area.

 

ACTIVITES :

Create and implement the Perfume & Beauty training and development strategy

  • Define, with the European Training Manager, the blended learning training strategy, its deployment and the way it is communicated.
  • Identify the short and long-term needs of the teams pre-and post-launch by Perfume & Beauty division every quarter in order to monitor and draw up an action plan in the field.
  • Define and optimize the roadmap and the annual training budget, including the management of the forecasts of the training tools with the Export department.

 

Lead, train and support the Training team with a focus on Puig Markets: Spain, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Austria 

  • Create and lead a community of Trainers.
  • Support the team with a development plan adapted to the level of each Markets Training Manager (Train The Trainer)
  • Each year, design the editorial calendar of the Brand Experience / H Learn & Play mobile application accompanied by the European Training Project Manager
  • In the field, promote a coaching approach within the team by proactively observing sales behaviors with the Trainers and the Sales Force
  • Guarantee the quality of the execution of local training by following regular needs and participating in local initiatives, specific projects, regional meetings, and business instances (connect meetings)
  • Collaborate with the team to effectively tailor all training events, tools, and paths to strategic needs and evaluate the effectiveness of training through consistent evaluation of results.

 

Be responsible for the Retail Excellence and Customer Experience vision in the field:

  • Participation in launches, opening of Personalized Spaces, contribution to highlights and strategic meetings of internal teams and partners in the area: Roadshows, key seminars, Retailer meetings, sales cycles, etc.
  • Define, management and promotion of tools for the customer experience at the point of sale and for Trainers: grooming, sales support tools, training tools.
  • Be an active member of the One Europe Retail project, particularly on customer journey and sales techniques.

PROFILE :

Education and/or professional experience 

  • Higher education Bac +5 specialized in luxury, 3 axes or coaching
  • Experience in designing and executing multi-media training device programs or in personalized learning paths (mentoring, coaching, virtual classroom, e-learning, video-learning, workshops, simulations, etc.)
  • Proven Retail Management experience.
  • A BTS in aesthetics or make-up training would be an asset.

Know-how : 

  • Customer-oriented, business-oriented and Trainer
  • Very dynamic environment: mastery of a European language, German would be a plus.
  • Optimize budgetary discipline: ability to support markets in carrying out a cost-benefit analysis and calculating the return on investment of training.
  • Ability to coach and transmit a clear sales coaching methodology to a team of Trainers.
  • Mastery of make-up techniques, perfume culture as well as skincare, ideally.
  • Organizational skills: training plans, schedules, budgets, reactive with a sense of priorities and urgency
  • Proficient written, verbal and presentation skills in French and English.
  • Creative and innovative, able to meet the challenges of the Markets.
  • Mastery of the digital learning environment (modalities, solutions, distribution platforms) and social networks
  • Microsoft Office.
