The Team:The Planning and Allocation team supports Hermès of Paris business by managing the process of sales forecasting, open to buy (OTB), oversee auto replenishment, inventory management, reporting and analysis. The Planning team develops strategies and sets clear directions to maximize business performance.The Opportunity:We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Allocation Manager to join our Planning and Allocation team. In this role, you will manage the strategic distribution of products while ensuring optimal stock levels are aligned with customer demand. You will lead allocation processes with a data-driven approach, overseeing direct reports and collaborating cross-functionally to support sales and inventory goals.About the Role:Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective inventory pre-season allocation strategies in alignment with company goals and objectives
- Oversee and manage the company's replenishment programs by partnering with the Planning and Merchandise team to develop min and max levels (at the sku detail)
- Monitor store performance and inventory levels to make proactive allocation and replenishment decisions
- Review and adjust allocation min max levels based on real-time sales and inventory data to optimize product availability and minimize overstock
- Collaborate and partner closely with the Merchandising team on distribution strategies to drive sales and mitigate any inventory risk in season.
- Conduct sales forecasts to understand months of supply and to demonstrate proactive executions
- Support the team in developing back of house (BOH) capacity plans that can be tracked against.
- Monitor and report the status of stores against current and upcoming capacities against stock levels to make decisions on allocation action and to highlight any potential risks
- Collaborate with IT to troubleshoot system errors and finding long term solutions to operate effectively and efficiently
- Track inventory flow to stores and distribution center to determine allocation strategies for launch moments
- Leverage Excel to build and maintain tools that streamline allocation analysis and improve decision-making.
- Ability to oversee multiple priorities with high level of autonomy
- Lead and manage the launch of a new replenishment tools
- Develop and maintain a high-level understanding of store profiles inclusive of master data, lead time management and location delivery requirements to improve the allocation process
- Lead and mentor an Allocator to ensure accurate and timely execution of allocation processes

About You:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Merchandising, or a related field.
- 6 plus years of experience in allocation, preferably with management or leadership experience.
- High level of proficiency with retail math and Excel (data analysis, forecasting and modeling).
- Proven leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to coach or mentor team members.
- Comfortable and confident making allocation decisions and recommendations grounded in data
- Ability to effectively multi-task, prioritize and adapt to fast-paced, dynamic business environment.
- Strong strategic thinking and outstanding analytical/quantitative skills with ability to manage large amounts of data.
- Ability to drive process improvements and develop systematic processes, get results and bring issues to closure, while applying a continuous improvement mindset to all workstreams.
- Excellent listening, communication, and presentation skills; ability to effectively interact with team members and cross functional and field partners at all levels.
The range for this position is $96,706.50 - $114,289.00.
