About the Role:
We are seeking a COO to lead all our Heetch GMs (country manager) in our 5 main countries (France, Belgium, Algeria, Angola, Mali). This role blends a very strategic mindset, a deep understanding of the marketplace dynamics and the ability to lead GMs and teams.
You will oversee our 5 General Managers and help them reach their objectives. You will hire, manage, set up the objectives, interact with all the global teams (business analysis, etc.), to define the right strategy to keep growing in these markets.
Heetch is not as big as Uber or Bolt but is one of the big players in all of his markets. The company was launched +12 years ago, is profitable and the COO is the person in charge of it.
What You’ll Do:
- Mentor, coach, and develop General Managers to reach their full potential
- Create growth opportunities within the team, ensuring they take on new challenges and expand their expertise
- Foster a culture of analytical excellence, curiosity, and ownership among all markets
Strategy & Execution
- Define and drive the countries’ roadmaps, aligning with business analysis, local teams and global teams expectations (growth, product, data, etc.)
- Ensure best practices in execution, management and hiring in all countries
- Advocate for a data-driven culture, helping teams translate insights into action
Challenges You’ll Face:
- Building and maintaining alignment across diverse stakeholders
- Digging business analysis topics to adapt the strategic priorities- Inspiring teams and people from different countries and backgrounds
- Making several teams execute perfectly to perform in a very competitive landscape
About You:
- 10+ years of experience in leading a country or business unit, with 3+ years of marketplace experience
- Proven ability to recruit, develop and mentor high-performing teams
- Deep business analytical skills and mindset
- Ability to translate complex data insights into business actions
- Hands-on experience with excellent execution skills
- Natural leader
- Speaking French and English (Spanish, Portuguese or Arabic is a plus)
