Technical Manager
Permanent Contract – Based in Saint-Malo / FRANCE

Your role:

Reporting to the Marketing & Innovation Director, you will be responsible for the Technical & Marketing department of PHOSPHEA, which consists of 5 people. You will implement the defined strategy and ensure the proper functioning of the department for the successful international marketing of various products in the range.

Your missions:


TECHNICAL SUPPORT AND COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENT:

-Provide a reference technical expertise in support of sales teams and their clients, in connection with field issues.
-Define and propose solutions to anticipated or encountered problems by our clients and sales teams.
-Participate in the structuring and adaptation of the offer according to local contexts, in collaboration with clients and internal relays.
-Highlight the characteristics and performance of products to contribute to commercial development, through appropriate and varied marketing tools.
-Ensure the coverage of technical training needs for the sales teams.
-Integrate regulatory constraints and evolutions related to the industrial and logistical impact of commercialized or developing products.

PRODUCT STRATEGY:

-Participate in the definition and piloting of product strategy in different geographies.
-Work closely with sales management to understand market, customer needs, and transform them into concrete technical and marketing orientations.
-Guide and ensure monitoring of technical and competitive market evolutions.
-Advise the General Management in strategic reflections related to company development.
-Ensure the coherence between innovation projects and market opportunities, interfacing with product development teams.
-Manage Phosphea’s brand portfolio.
-Monitor marketing performance indicators and propose corrective action plans.

MANAGEMENT OF THE TECHNICAL TEAM:

-Define recruitment needs, organize resources, and monitor the department budget.
-Ensure the match of profiles and skills with operational and strategic needs.
-Supervise, motivate, and develop the skill set of the technical team.


Preferred experience

YOUR PROFILE:

-Engineer specialized in animal nutrition/animal production.
-Proven experience in animal nutrition ideally on an international scope involving management.
-Rigorous, with good interpersonal skills and leadership, autonomous and able to handle complex situations.
-You have an interest in international opportunities and fieldwork.
-Ability to impart your expertise.
-Fluent in English.
-Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
