At DIAM, I have had the chance to climb the ladder: after joining as a draughtswoman in the Central Design Office, I then took on the role of setting up the design office in the factory, and today I am in the development department, where I am a development project manager working alongside the sales teams. I like the challenges that customers throw at us with each new call for tenders, the quest for solutions, and above all the teamwork, whether with the sales representatives, the factories or the purchasing department. And all this with an environmentally responsible approach at each step along the way! Because at DIAM, that’s a real commitment!

I have had an unusual career path. I left Diam group twice, and finally came back each time. I started as a mould designer, then I joined the design office, and then moved into the management of projects in development. This is very stimulating work, requiring great responsiveness, flexibility, and a lot of listening to customers. Each new project is a challenge, it sometimes happens that we can’t see how to achieve it, but thanks to a very open team, we compare our ideas with the sole objective of meeting the brief.
I have now joined the innovation department, where I take care of the certification of displays, electrical diagrams, and low-energy lighting systems.
What I like is that a spirit of initiative is encouraged, with the right to make mistakes, allowing us to move forward and learn. I collaborate with many different departments and partners around the world. Another point important to me is the CSR approach, which is part of DIAM’s DNA and which is getting stronger every year.

My career at DIAM seemed all mapped out in purchasing, but then a wish to get to grips with the world of factory production led me to branch off and enrich my operational experience by working with some amazing teams. I also had the opportunity to take part in the group’s Innovation Challenge and had the joy of winning it with my colleagues in the USA and the CSR team! I am now undergoing training leading to a qualification in the circular economy, and I have a manager who always pushes me further to find the environmentally responsible materials of the future and contribute to positive retailing!

DIAM is an international group. A partner of beauty and luxury brands and retailers, and retail expert for 50 years, DIAM creates, develops and installs merchandising, shopfitting and high-end packaging solutions to create the perfect match between brands and their consumers at the point of sale.
