We are looking for a passionate Developer Advocate to be a part of GitGuardian’s team, that protects the open source community against hackers and develops a robust, scalable and globally trusted product!
Our tech team built a set of tools that scan GitHub public activity and git private repositories.

As a Developer Advocate at GitGuardian, you will report directly to the CMO and your main mission will be to be the public technical voice of GitGuardian! You will explain our products and solutions by interacting with the developer’s open source community with every necessary medium.
You will raise awareness around secret sprawling and DevSecOps best practices.
In the end, you will help developers protect their sensitives data by unlocking the most value out of GitGuardian’s product.

By joining our team, you will take an active part in:

• Developing with our CMO a strong communication strategy to interact with our community about our products and related cybersecurity topics
• Produce highly qualitative technical content such as blog posts, white papers, workshops, webinars, videos on youtube and twitch…
• When COVID will be behind us, organize and / or be a part of developer’s related events such as hackathons and DevRel related conferences
• Working closely with highly-skilled developers, product managers and growth hackers that will help you deeply understand our products
• Keeping yourself up to date with the products of the ecosystem we live in, see what works / doesn’t work and detect trends :)
• Participating in the growth of our teams! We are growing from 35 to 50 employees in 2021!

Our offices are based in central Paris (75011) and each person of the team can do remote work for 2 days a week in order to facilitate a good work - life balance.

• 3 - 5 years of experience on a similar role in a tech startup environment
• English native
• Degree in engineering, computer science or similar technical field
• Experience in writing code: you can build small tools and release it fastly!
• Passionate about the developer ecosystem and particularly the DevSecOps trend
• Very energetic and autonomous personality with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Have experienced strong team growth in a previous company, you understand the startups dynamics and challenges
