The position

Job description

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Consumer Insights Specialist (Qualitative research) to join our Consumer & Market Insights team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting in-depth qualitative research to gain insights into player behaviors, preferences, and experiences. This role is crucial for enhancing game design, improving user experience, and driving innovation in our gaming products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and conduct qualitative studies, including interviews, focus groups, or online blogs to gather insights on player experiences,
  • Analyze and interpret data to identify key themes, player needs, and motivations Topics may include concept tests, feature deepdives, future game content creation etc,
  • Work closely with the rest of the CMI team and suggest methodologies that can explain the why behind the quant data,
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends in the gaming industry and qualitative research methodologies,
  • Engage with the gaming community to understand player perspectives and emerging trends.

Preferred experience

  • 2-3+ years of successful experience in qualitative research, preferably in the gaming industry or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in qualitative data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Bonus - Knowledge of the gaming industry, including various game genres, player demographics, and market trends.
  • Experience with user experience research in a digital product environment.
