Roles and responsibilities

The trading desk at Flowdesk is technical, diligent, and focused. The ideal candidate has an uncommon drive to learn and improve, an entrepreneurial spirit, and strong quantitative skills.

You will be an integral part of the trading team, a dynamic group of people focused on researching, interpreting, and capitalising on crypto trading markets, whilst servicing our clients with top-notch services.

The ideal candidate for this position should be extremely curious, organised, and a self-starter.

-Manage mm algo for a book of clients
-Run, Supervise, and adjust the trading algorithms
-Preview liquidity distribution on sales requirement
-Daily analysis on executed trades, for instance check daily trading volumes and average spread for clients
-hedge the most illiquid trading feeds when possible
-Proactively participate in continuous improvement of internal tools and systems.
-Be a team player and work in partnership with the Middle, Sales and Ops teams


Preferred experience

Skills and personality:

Curious, autonomous with high standards
Experience in trading crypto or non-crypto assets
Strong understanding of decentralized exchanges and decentralized finance.
Strong understanding of cryptocurrency concepts such as wallets, blockchains, smart contracts, stablecoins, and airdrops required.
Highly motivated and results-driven
Background and experience:

Background and experience:

University degree (MSc), preferably in Finance, Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or related
Experience within a global financial trading firm is a plus (working on illiquid market or an electronic trading is a big plus)
Proven ability to successfully manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Aptitude and preference for working in a highly collaborative environment
Strong maths skills and critical thinking required
Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral
Reliable and predictable availability required.
