Petassos Travel want to grow their German market team. You will be in charge of direct sales with Evaneos customers. You will be the person who receives inquiries through the Evaneos platform and the main contact for German travelers who want to discover Creta and Greece. As the contract will be with the local agency, the job could contain any or more of the following duties:

• Understand travelers expectations
• Main contact for clients to determine travel needs, budgets, and preferences: tailor-made itineraries
• Match travelers’ requirements with transportation, accommodations, insurance, tours, and activities.
• Advises clients regarding destinations, cultures, customs, weather, and activities
• Responsible for billing the travelers
• Handles travel issues, conflicts, complaints, cancellations, and refunds
• Builds and maintains relationships with travel and tour operators
• Booking management: reservation with hotels and other services
• Quality monitoring during the trip

Duration & contract type: long term contract
Precise location: Heraklion, Crete (remote work could be considered)
Availability: from March 2023
Salary: to be discussed (starting at 800,00€)
Other advantages: employee’s social security contribution, after one year the salary will be increased according to the sales report at the end of the year, travel so that the employee can get to know the places he or she is selling
Working time per day and week: 09.00-17.00, 5 days per week, weekend free.

Languages required:

• Native level of German to be the main contact for German travelers
• Good level of English to be able to speak with the suppliers

Ideal profile:

• Better to have previous experience with tourism
• Knowledge about Greece is a plus, but training would be provided about the destination
• Know how to operate a computer in a Windows environment and the basic programs of 365 Office
• Polite, cheerful, positive to suggestions, resourceful and able to handle situations under the pressure of the season
• Willing to learn
