We are seeking a Finance Global Domain Owner (GDO) to be accountable for Finance processes during implementation of our new insurance business software and ensure that the implemented solution meets all the business requirements for the full project scope.
Responsibilities:
Own Finance processes and leverage a network of SMEs and LDOs (Local Domain Owners) across the organization.
Ensure global consistency of Finance processes.
Ensure progress and manage risks / issues for Finance business domain.
Ensure SMEs and LDOs mobilization during the development of the CORE solution and countries roll in especially during the inception phase.
Ensure maximum alignment to CORE model across the organization to contain and limit deviation.
Participate to Design Authority Committee to validate proposed solution and arbitrages.
Align the vision and processes with the target operating model (TOM) design.
Deliverables:
- Receivables management & reconciliation (incl integration of cash inflows, accounting clearing of receivables, aged balances…)
- Payables management and reconciliations ((incl integration of cash outflows, accounting clearing of payables, aged balances…)
- Generation of accounting entries, reconciliation with operating claims flows
- Dunning & delinquency processes
- Invoice structuration
Documentation of finance processes
Required documentation for arbitration during convergence authority meetings
Skills & experience expectations:
Great project management skills
Good knowledge of Finance and Accounting
Good knowledge of Insurance industry - Optional
Knowledge of Insurance software (e.g. Guidewire, Duck Creek etc.) – Optional
Ideally 10+ years of professional experience but a fast learner with at least 3 years of experience with strong appetite for Finance could work as well
Fluent in English (working language in written & spoken - daily use)
