Department

Within the Risk Management Team, with team members working from different sites (Paris, Oslo, New York, Dublin, Copenhagen), operating across the Group, the apprentice, under the responsibility of the Risk Manager, will be located in Paris.

The apprentice will assist the Risk Manager in the risk management process (e.g. risk registers updates), related tasks (e.g. ensuring quality and organization of risk registers data, planning of the registers updates) and projects. In doing so, the apprentice may be required to work with other team members and 1st Line of Defence stakeholders (especially risk coordinators). As a creative force, the apprentice will also contribute to the improvement, development and maintenance of the risk management tool.

• Assists in the update, development, management and monitoring of risk registers across the Euronext Group.
• Work with the 1st Line on the development of targeted risk indicators to assist 1st Line measure their risks.
• Work on the development of targeted risk topics and contribute to initiatives such as streamlining risk assessment based on risk taxonomy and developing risk indicators to help 1st Line measure their risks.
• Work with the Risk Management Team on documentation for internal use or for the 1st Line (e.g. training materials for risk coordinators).
• Contribute to the development of risk reports for better enterprise-wide communication.
• Assist in the development of analytics on risks, for value-added contribution.
• Contribute to the development and the maintenance of the risk management tool (e.g. assisting in the collection and summarization of requirements, documenting relevant information, training users).

Profil

• Studies focused on risk management (especially operational risk management)
• Knowledge of the markets, operations, and/or IT an advantage.
• Self-starter, confident
• Relationship building
• Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to discuss risk in an approachable manner.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Excellent skills in Excel and PPT (pack office).
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels including senior executives, both orally and in writing.
• Fluency in English and French required
