The position

Job description

You are a critical member of the product organization responsible for making a product vision become a reality and delight customers. You are a problem solver at heart and enjoy challenges and dynamic environments.

As a product owner, you will gather feature requests, and customer requirements, and continuously groom and prioritize product backlog for the development team, while maintaining the vision and integrity of the product you are responsible for. Specifically, you will:

  • Serve as the voice of all stakeholders, both internal and external to the development team

  • Work closely with your product manager and tech leads to analyze the needs and align them to our product roadmaps and vision

  • Define backlog items (epics/features/stories) that guide the development teams

  • Write user stories along with acceptance criteria. Test the same when the feature is built

  • Conduct weekly backlog grooming sessions with all stakeholders and prioritize those against the urgency of the need vs available capacity

  • Participate in daily scrum meetings, planning, reviews and retrospectives

  • Solve product-related issues, make decisions and continuously do trade-off analyses to ensure development stays on track toward deliverable commitments

  • Support the product manager and the product organization by being data-driven to help make business decisions

  • Be accountable for the created products

  • Drive the release process actively

  • Ensure there is always a healthy backlog of prioritized user stories ready for development

  • Communicate effectively to all stakeholders as to the status of the development


Preferred experience

Attention to details, creative thinking, resourcefulness and problem-solving skills

  • Fluent French and professional English required

  • Top engineering or business school

  • Interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

  • Strong interest in UI/UX

  • Technical fundations & interest in understanding product’s technical characteristics (API, Micro-service, Back-end vs Front-end exchanges)

  • Ability to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment
