We are seeking a strong motivated DevSecOps eager to leverage his/her skills in our fight against cancer. This role will report directly to Epigene’s Lead Software Engineer. The team is located in Paris at Station F, and benefits from the advisory of world-class cancer scientists, data scientists, and technologists, as well as seasoned tech and biotech entrepreneurs and investors, including Daphni.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for driving the security topic at Epigene Labs, which covers both our platform and our data.
• Perform inspection of technical assets and capabilities.
• Evaluate application performance, identify potential bottlenecks, develop solutions, and implement them with the help of developers.
• Facilitate the integration strategy and planning process with leaders and teams.
• Identifying and documenting architecture, deployment methods, customer service requests, change requests, incident management, change management, continuity management.

Requirements

• 3-5 years or more of solution design and deployment work in a SaaS / DevOps / Container / Cloud environment.
• Experience in deploying, securing and monitoring applications and data in Cloud Architectures, preferably Azure: Kubernetes, Functions, Blob Storage, VPN, firewalls.
• Security first mindset: experience with secure development, coding, engineering practices
• Experience with systems reliability, load balancing, monitoring, logging.
• BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or another related area.
• Well versed with CI/CD pipelines and the Python language.
• Experience with working with sensible data (biomedical covered by HIPAA/GDPR would be preferred, but not mandatory).

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with sensitive data environment (healthcare, bank, geographical).
• Prior experience in being involved with external assessments (audit, pen-testing, certification process)
• Working knowledge of healthcare, biopharma and/or oncology.
