Contract: try and hire

Enova is a company specialized in information technology. Our activities are focused on the most demanded IT skills. Based in Geneva, in the heart of the Lake Geneva region, our expertise allows us to accompany our clients’ projects. Also based in Zurich, our dynamic teams provide a high standard expertise and IT solutions. We maintain strong partnerships with our clients and with our highly qualified experts in the pursuit of excellence.

As a result of the extent and complexity of data processing activities deployed by the organization, the client is not in a position to set out a standardized data retention and deletion procedure. It faces a similar challenge to establish a centralized RoPA.

Your responsibilities
In order to consolidate its Data Protection practices, the client wishes to develop the following tools and processes:

  1. Draft of a general Data Retention and Deletion Procedure:
    · Draft a Data Retention and Deletion Guidelines, stating the storage limitation principle, its implications within the client, and the criteria to be considered to determine data retention periods. Where feasible, explicitly indicate the data retention periods applicable. The document should provide criteria precise enough to help the client staff determine these periods.
  2. Establishment of a Strategy to develop and deploy RoPAs (Register of Processing Activities) for the client Departments or Line of Activities carried out by the client
    · Draft a strategy to develop and deploy a plan to create individual RoPA for each department or line of activities of the client.
    · Identification and selection of a tool for the formal centralized RoPA relevant to the client needs. The formal centralized RoPA should comprised of all the RoPA that are created by each department (or lines of activity) on their own, so that the DPO can easily have an easy overview of the different data processing activities within its purview.
  3. Support the implementation of both procedures with the client procurement department
    · Finalize a Data Retention and Deletion policy applicable to the client Procurement activities
    · Develop a RoPA for Procurement activities that includes the retention periods.
