We are looking for strong Backend Software Engineer willing to join us in our mission to help people achieve their goals. How? By building the system to coordinate what’s asked of people across tools and teams.

Being one of the senior developers in the team, you’ll be make sure we ship!

We are looking for Backend Developers who can iterate quickly on features while building for scalability. As Senior Developers, we look for people who want to lead their topics and participate in the conception of features, while growing the team.You will report to Xavier (tech co-founder).

The mission

• Build new features all the way down from conception with our PM, technical specs and back-end implementation to the polishing of UI components
• Identify and decide on the relevant tradeoffs needed to ship fast a product with quality and scale in mind
• Develop the best practice and leadership on your topic (Front / Back / Infra)
• Grow the team (includes junior and intermediate engineer management on your topics)
• Help define, adjust, and enforce software development processes to help structure the team
• Contribute to hire our engineering team to ~10 people

Is that you? 💕

• Experience - You have several years of experience building interactive applications (with high traffic or critical for the business is a plus)
• Multi-tongue - You are comfortable with TypeScript and are either proficient in front-end (ReactJS, NextJS, Chakra UI, …), back-end development (NodeJS, GraphQL, GCloud, … ) or both! An interest and/or experience in setting up infrastructure is definitely a plus!
• Pre-product market-fit - You’ve already worked on a product from first lines of code to launch before and you know that in early stage you need to stay flexible and iterate
• User care - You care deeply about user experience, never shying away from the last mile to create something truly delightful
• Delivery focused - You like to deliver and not just think and strategise. You take feedback to iterate on your designs and produce smart and beautiful propositions.
• Independent and driven - You are autonomous in your day to day hustle. We build Kairn to help people accomplish their goals so we like people who take initiatives, delivering from idea to result. You focus on delivering top quality at top speed. There’s no gain without pain 💪
• Team player - You enjoy collaborating and know how to take and share feedback
  International - You’re fluent in English
