Kairn is the productivity tool for ambitious individuals and teams to prioritise their days across projects and tools.

Teams collaborate across a wide number of tools, think Jira, Linear for developers, Figma, Whimsical for designers, Asana, Salesforce, Hubspot, GoogleSheet, for marketing teams, Airtable, Notion, Docs, for Ops + our communication tools Slack, emails, Zoom… To manage projects, they use old project tools built for managers, not for team members, failing at engaging with the right user.

Because of that, users add an extra layer of personal task management to prioritise their days. That’s yet another disconnected tool leading to out-of-date data across tools making team progress impossible.

We think that process is broken. To solve it we build a user-centric approach to project management serving users instead of managers. Kairn is the place where you prioritise your days, across all your projects and tools. From personal to professional projects we enable you and your crew to get things done, faster, better, together. What you’ll be doing 🧠

You’ll lead the entire product design lifecycle, from problematization, to ideation and product releases - identify and validate problems, define goals, prototype interactions and deliver a stunning experience.

Some responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

• Conducting user research to discover the problems we need to focus on and and usability testing to validate solutions
• Working with our Product manager to challenge ideas and deliver designs to create a smart user-centric experience
• Iterating on concepts to bring experiences to life and design features that ship quickly with high quality
• Working on the Kairn brand and assets to align our branding and product at all times
• Being responsible for our Design system
• Building the design culture and design team at Kairn

Is that you? 💕

• Experienced - 3-6 years experience in product and visual interface design. You love to create exceptional experiences that bring delight through the product.
• Research & problem oriented - You know how to identify jobs to be done, make qualitative and quantitative research and turn insights into problems to solve.
• Visual and delight - You’ve got an outstanding attention to user experience and UX writing. We’re a B2B app that spreads virally among users so having a consumer feel is key.
• Delivery focused - You like to deliver and not just think and strategise. You take feedback to iterate on your designs and produce smart and beautiful propositions.
• Break down problems - Demonstrated ability to distill complex tools down to simple and elegant experiences for end-users.
• Independent and driven - You’re autonomous in your day to day hustle. We build Kairn to help people accomplish their goals so we like people who take initiatives, delivering from idea to result. You focus on delivering top quality at top speed. There’s no gain without pain 💪
• Team player You enjoy collaborating and know how to take and share feedback
• You’ve got a couple of bold goals you’d like to accomplish 🔥
