The expert will join the Research & Innovation department and will contribute to all activities related to climate policy and carbon projects and markets at the group level. He/she supports the department of the Research and Innovation in developing and implementing the research and innovation strategy to develop offsetting project methodologies, to produce publications, to build new offers and projects for our clients, in structuring and coordinating our market intelligence capability, and in delivering of technical capacity building.

Missions

• Contribute to the development of the R&I activities dedicated to carbon markets & offsetting projects, in line with the group strategy;
• Contribute to R&I project developments within EcoAct Group and with external partners, including Nature Based-Solutions oriented projects;
• Develop analysis of climate policy and carbon markets at the group level: Domestic climate action, Label Bas-Carbone, CORSIA, Article 6 of the Paris agreement, REDD +, Carbon neutrality;
• Support to the technical/regulatory intelligence and to market/policy watch processes;
• Participate to identify, evaluate and develop new products & services in line with the development of voluntary and regulatory carbon markets in the context of the Paris Agreement;
• Provide technical support to the sales team on your expertise.

Experience and Education

• 0-3 years of experience in carbon markets sector
• Education: Policy, economics or ecological / forestry background, PhD will be plus
• Fluent in French and in English, another language being a plus
