Job Description / Responsibilities
The mission of the BDM is based on the identification of new markets and the development of existing and “emerging” markets in which to propose the company’s products. Furthermore, he/she must ensure that customers are fully satisfied and be able to best represent the image and values of Echosens.
Reporting to the Senior National Sales Manager, key responsibilities include:
· Identify potential customers, contact them and create new business opportunities
· Focus on private market development
· Focus on “emerging” markets (e.g. diabetes)
· Work with the team to develop proposals that meet clients’ needs and goals
· Present strategies and tactics to achieve the set goals
· Periodically submit reports and analyzes on the reference market
· Represent the company in congresses, workshops and trades
· Demonstrate products; deliver installations, training, and renewals
· Keep the CRM (Salesforce) updated for the area; conversion of leads, preparation of quotations, leases, and accurate forecasting/sales funnel management
You should have a minimum of 5 years’ healthcare and medical devices experience in sales; marketing experience is consider a plus. Previous experience in medical Capital Equipment or Ultrasound would be preferred, as well as a prior experience of working with a CRM (ideally Salesforce.com). Clinical knowledge of the hepatology, gastroenterology and endocrinology field is not required but would be highly valued as it will enable the successful applicant to hit the ground running
You will be home based, and the role requires extensive travels on the assigned territory. The presence in Verona office is requested for meetings and special occasions.
Other skills requested are the ability to communicate effectively in public, conflict resolution while maintaining a diplomatic attitude, marketing skills and teamwork aptitude.
