Your Role at Echo

As a Data Partnerships Manager, you will join the Data Acquisition team led by Arnaud, our Data Strategy Director. The team is composed of 3 people and we’re looking for our latest addition!

You will directly contribute to the success of our data strategy by working on acquiring data, onboarding new data partners into our ecosystem and maintaining our existing network of data partnerships.

As Data Acquisition is central to our growth and success, the quality of the sources you’ll be able to onboard will directly impact our ability to deliver high-level products and complex analysis to our clients.

You will then closely collaborate with multiple departments including Product, R&D and Sales as well as external partners.


As such, your main responsibilities will be:

  • Managing our existing network of data partners
  • Identifying and qualifying new data partners, both open source and paid, that will help us improve our datasets and deliver new product roadmap items
  • Engaging in discussions and negotiating effective business partnerships with our future data providers
  • Leading partnerships opportunities assessment together with the Product, R&D and Sales teams, including the evaluation of the data sources done by our data analysis experts
  • Driving the commercial and delivery project discussions through creativity and strong negotiation skills


What we’re looking for:

A self-motivated, autonomous person with strong business acumen!

  • 3+ years of Business or Sales experience
  • Proven negotiation expertise, including contract management and closing
  • Innovative thinker with the ability to establish unique partnership models, including bartering
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) with both technical and business stakeholders
  • Fluency in English
  • Analytical mindset
  • Trusted relationship builder with clients and all stakeholders
