• Limited business trips within Europe

The EZMove team is responsible of integrating, maintaining and developing low level controllers on our platforms. The team is growing and a new open position is available.

Integrated to a multi-competencies development and integration team, you will directly contribute to the success of EasyMile by working in collaboration to the other R&D teams at the integration of EasyMile Autonomous Stack into different kinds of platform (shuttle, tow tractor, bus, industrial truck, forklift, etc.)

Missions

You will become the main technical referent for one or several platforms:

• In charge of the platform automation developments and organize the software deliveries

• Participate to the platform automation software developments and the source code peer review

• Define the architecture of the technical solution to fulfil the product needs

• Be an active part of the technical safety concept definition

• Participate to the certification and homologation of the vehicle

• Support the internal and partner teams during the product life cycle (from tests to the deployments), with potential trips to the clients’ site

• In charge of technical documentation related to the platform automation level

Depending on your skills and background you will be involved in several activities, amongst:

• System architecture (IO definition / low level components choice / intersystem architecture / ICD writing)

• Safety (technical safety concept writing / safety requirements impacts on architecture)

• Certification / homologation (contribution to industrialisation process)

• Mechanical and electrical integration (mechanical and electrical integration ino vehicle / definition of electrical and energy schemes / supervision of mounting into the vehicle / tests in partner/client premises)

• Test bench (definition and architecture of test benches / components provisioning and assembling)

• Low level developments (communication protocol definition and coding / developments for low level components (PLC, steering and braking actuators) / software integration of low level and vehicle parts with robotics embedded software)

• Components setup (provisioning of components / sensors setup (lidars, cameras, radars…) / actuator setup (control driver…) / loop control setup on vehicle)

• Team & partner support (L2 - expertise level)

A 2 months training period is planned for you to comprehend our technologies, processes and tools in order to guarantee an effective upskill on our systems.

We are looking fo the following:

Technical

• Good experience in C and embedded system development

• Good Experience using CAN, Programmable Logic Controller, Network Socket

• Good experience working in Linux Environment (linux, shell, gcc, gdb…) and git

• Good experience in control/command applications

• Degree in Computer Science, Electronics or Embedded Systems Desirable

• Experience in using LiDAR in robotic application

• Experience in mechatronic

• Fluent in French & English
