The position

Job description

  • Duration: 6 months (starting February 2021 or earlier)
  • Location: Toulouse
  • Internship subject: Model-based Safety analysis of an Automated Vehicle
  • Internship tutor: Thibaut Lahore, Safety Engineer

As part of the continuous improvement of our Safety process, EasyMile targets to implement all its Safety analysis in a model-based environnement from the early conceptual phase to the detailed analysis at the product development level. This approach should bring to Safety and design teams the efficient and consistent execution of the safety-related activities required by applicable standards for Critical embedded systems.

You will conduct the necessary activities to implement existing Safety analysis and/or create those missing as follows:

  • Ansys Medini analyze as the model-based environment and Safety analysis tool (overview)
  • Item and preliminary design definition (model-based)
  • Safety analysis: Hazard analysis, Safety concept, FMEA, FTA
  • Requirements engineering

We are looking for:

  • Strong basis in main methodologies for Safety engineering: Hazard analysis, Safety concept, FMEA, FTA…
  • Working knowledge about System, hardware and software engineering for embedded systems
  • Fluent in English
  • Creative force, autonomous and rigorous
  • Engineering degree or equivalent university education (Bac+5)

Recruitment process

  • 30 minutes call with a recruitment officer
  • Meeting with the team, technical tests
  • One hour interview with the tutor and a recruitment officer
