Dynatrace Documentation is a critical asset in driving user adoption of our unified observability, security, and business platform, providing navigation through the multi-faceted functionality Dynatrace offers and helping users extract the most value out of Dynatrace.

Your role at Dynatrace

As a Technical Writer, you’ll own documentation for several product areas and work closely with development teams to deliver the documentation for them.

• You’ll create concise, clear, and accurate product explanations that can be easily grasped by non-technical users.
• Work in the docs-as-code process using a markdown-based static site, VSCode, and Git.
• Be the first adopter of Dynatrace.
• Use your technical knowledge to navigate complex use cases and document them in an easy-consumable way.
• Be a user advocate, connecting the perspectives of developers and users together.
• Provide guidance for documentation contributors to enable them to work autonomously.
• Share your knowledge and expertise with fellow technical writers.
• Work within a truly global R&D team with a presence across multiple continents.

Qualifications

• Technical degree paired with a passion for writing or a linguistic degree paired with technology-related experience.
• 3+ years of experience in technical communication, with a focus on creating user documentation for software.
• Understanding of different content types in the documentation and their purpose.
• Superb level of English.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in agile software development environment.
• Proficiency in Markdown, Git, Jira, and PowerShell.
• Ability to learn quickly and drive to learn constantly.
• Ability to produce clear, precise, and conversational copy for the web.
• Ability to understand both developers and users of software.

The following technical proficiencies will benefit you:

• Knowledge of any programming language.
• Knowledge of statistics and data analysis.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies.
• Knowledge of databases and query languages.

Adding a portfolio of your writing examples will benefit your application.

Compensation and rewards

• We offer attractive compensation packages and stock purchase options with numerous benefits and advantages. 

• Salary: 9k - 12k PLN gross per month. We hire only based on a contract of employment (UoP).
