Job Description

At Dynatrace we believe that content design is an integral part of the software experience. Content Designers bring more than just language skills to the table; they’re passionate about the big picture and understand how content can affect and shape our users’ workflows.

We are looking for a Senior Content Designer who is a fierce advocate for our customers – distilling complex problems and workflows into clear, savvy communications.

As a Content Designer at Dynatrace, you will collaborate with an international team of passionate designers, researchers, product managers, and developers across our R&D labs in Austria, Poland, Spain, Estonia, and the United States.

The Platform is at the heart of Dynatrace – it’s where all the magic happens, and it’s what allows all other teams to develop solutions for their own use cases. What’s central to our Platform, is having an awesome user experience – which is driven by an intuitive design system, thoughtful UX patterns, and having clear, concise, and consistent content to guide our users.

As a Senior Content Designer for our Platform, you will create content and copy for onboarding flows, navigational concepts, system notifications, in-product user education and support, and other UI components.

In this role, you will…

• Strive to understand how our customers think and speak to identify and establish useful, natural, and cohesive language and terminology across our Platform.
• Ensure a unified voice across user experiences that’s confident, approachable, and empowering.
• Become a domain expert and proactively gather research and data to inform your decisions.
• Advocate for content design and help educate all Platform teams about the role of content design throughout the product development process.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of dedicated experience in UX writing and content design for complex software products and systems — not only working on websites or advertising campaigns and not only writing long-format content (like blog posts and technical documentation).
• Experience working with remote and international teams.
• Fluent in English, with excellent writing, editing and communication skills.
• Solid understanding and execution of design principles, processes, user research, and success validation.
