The Director, of R&D/Engineering Talent Acquisition is responsible for establishing R&D Talent Acquisition programs and their execution to ensure Dynatrace can source, hire and pipeline the best R&D talent in the technology industry. Success in this role requires excellent relationship and executive stakeholder management skills, deep knowledge of leading a best-in-class R&D Talent Acquisition function in a high-growth technology company and broad human resource understanding in order to partner effectively with related human resource groups that interface with Talent Acquisition and which must integrate practices for people planning.  

This opportunity is high profile within the company, and the successful applicant will partner closely with the Global VP of Talent Acquisition to create breakthrough R&D talent practices that add measurable business value. Active engagement with the CTO and the R&D Executive Leadership Team will be commonplace in this critical position. The Successful Leader will serve as a key member of Dynatrace’s TA leadership team and be influential concerning global human resources, R&D/Engineering Talent Acquisition and Talent Development.  

This is a relocation opportunity to Austria, based in either Linz or Vienna. Dynatrace can support the successful candidate through our Relocation Support Package. 

YOUR IMPACT:  

  • Lead a high-performing R&D Talent Acquisition team. Hire, develop, and lead a team of high performing managers, and individual contributors across full-cycle recruiting.  

  • Engage and inspire the R&D Talent Acquisition team by providing excellent leadership and direction to continue to advance the functions.   Be a role model, a strong mentor/coach, and functional expert. 

  • Ability to develop, lead and implement successful R&D Talent Acquisition selection strategies in a fast paced, high-growth software organization implementing innovative, competitive, cost-effective strategies for recruiting and selecting diverse, high-quality talent.   

  • Develop and/or improve key processes and metrics for Talent Acquisition and hiring practices; leverage analytics and tools available to develop and deliver world-class R&D Talent Acquisition standards of excellence; set standards, and  measure results.    

  • Able to develop, implement and measure complex R&D Talent Acquisition strategies and philosophies; able to balance strategic thinking with flawless implementation.  Partner with key R&D Leaders to enable the advancement of global optimization and to align on commitments for all stakeholders involved to successfully deliver against the organization’s vision, long term strategy and annual goals.  

  • Leverage technology and other innovative methods for sourcing R&D Talent Acquisition by partnering with HR Systems to create processes that support Talent Acquisition.

Salary Range for the position is between 90,693 - 136,040 EUR.

 


Preferred experience

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • 8-10 years of experience in Talent Acquisition with at least 5 years of global R&D TA senior leadership expertise.  

  • Advanced leadership skills, demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and develop a high performing R&D Talent Acquisition Team.  

  • Experience leading large R&D Talent Acquisition teams, change, talent strategies and/or influencing business decisions as it pertains to workforce planning and talent needs. 

  • Knowledge of and experience with technology tools to support the recruitment function and experience managing a recruiting budget.  

  • Strong ability to use data and metrics to assess recruiting effectiveness.  

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.  

  • This role is located in either Linz or Vienna, Austria.
