The position

Job description

We’re looking for a passionate and results-driven Odoo Business Developer for the Belgian and French markets.

As a Business Developer, you’ll make use of your hunting, analytical and negotiation skills to acquire new customers.

You will engage with medium and larger organizations (> 250 employees) and advise them, providing them with valuable suggestions/consultation, and presenting them with the right solution for their business. You will be in contact with companies from different sectors on a daily basis, in addition to learning a lot on how companies from a wide range of different industries operate.

You will be working within the Odoo business unit of dFakto, supported by the BU Director and the Odoo delivery team, and in close coordination with dFakto’s Sales and Marketing teams.

Your main tasks will engage you to

  • Manage and own the full sales cycle, including prospection and qualification, contract negotiations, and closing deals;

  • Research and identify new, high-quality business opportunities by yourself ; qualify and manage these leads as well as those generated from other sources;

  • Understand the needs of your prospects and, with the support dFakto team, build and present strong business cases to meet them;

  • Get acquainted with Odoo functionalities and gradually become autonomous in explaining and demonstrating them to prospects;

  • Maintain and manage the pipeline of Odoo opportunities and provide accurate forecasts: one of your key performance indicators will be the implementation and subscription revenue they’ll generate;

  • Of course, reporting on your activity and your pipeline is part of your job, but you’re also expected to carry out market/segment/customer analysis and present your findings to senior management.


Preferred experience

  • Selling digital solutions is natural for you: you understand customer pain points, you can tell business stories, you speak in customer benefits, you translate your proposals into customer gains & savings;

  • You have 2-5 years of experience in enterprise software solution sales, preferably in the ERP or CRM area;

  • You have proven track record of hitting your target and former employers references;

  • You have excellent communication skills, both spoken and written;

  • You are familiar with the challenges of organizations with regard to operational management; more specifically, you understand the basics of accounting/finance, sales management, HR, logistics …

  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit; you are autonomous and creative; you always challenge your priorities to make the best use of your time; you’re customer-centric though rightly assertive;

  • You are keen to learn about dFakto offer and willing to highlight the benefits coming from our solutions;

  • You have a master degree in Applied Economics or similar;

  • You speak and write French fluently and have an a excellent command of English, Dutch would be a plus;

  • You have a work permit for Belgium.
