We are seeking a Finance Ops Apprentice to join our Finance team, you will gain hands-on experience in various essential tasks that contribute to the smooth running of the company’s financial operations. Your responsibilities over this apprenticeship will include:
1/ Accounting and Financial Reporting
Support monthly and annual financial closings, including documentation and reporting
Help in the preparation of annual financial statements and tax packages under the guidance of Finance Director
Ensure the correct transmission of accounting elements (purchase journal, sales journal, bank journal) to the accounting firm monthly, and respond to their queries if needed.
Contribute to updating financial tables and assist in budget preparation.
Reconcile bank movements with accounting records
Analyse cash flow variations and produce a reliable medium-term forecast
2/ Customer and Supplier Transactions
Monitor receivables and proactively follow up with clients to ensure timely collection and resolution of overdue payments.
Collaborate with the Sales and CSM departments to prepare customer sales invoices for recurring contracts and new sales.
Track expenditure commitments and assist with supplier payments.
Monitor and manage all payment methods currently in use: credit cards, direct debit mandates, bank transfers.
Manage the factoring file by submitting invoices to the factor and monitor outstanding financing by customer file.
3/ Software Maintenance and Legal Compliance
Support in maintaining the accounting software, including basic project management tasks and aiding in the automation of processes.
Participate in the company’s legal audit processes by providing necessary documentation and assistance.
Assist in the preparation and verification of periodic tax and social declarations, such as VAT, CVAE, IS, and other relevant taxes.
4/ Payroll Assistance
Work closely with HR team to support the preparation and verification of payroll
Collaborate with the HR department to initiate salary transfers during the payroll process.

Are currently pursuing a degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. Desired apprenticeship schedule: 4 days in the company / 1 day in training or 3 days in the company / 2 days in training.
Have good basis of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Demonstrate strong analytical thinking, with rigorous and detail oriented mind
Bring a positive, proactive attitude and a high level of motivation to everything you do.
Possess full working proficiency in English, French is a plus, and strong communication skills across all level
Have previous experience in a startup environment (a plus)
Have any prior hands-on experience in finance or accounting (a plus)
