Job description

Responsibilities

  • Engage teams to develop solutions collaboratively while able to work independently to build them when required. 

  • Foster a culture of sharing knowledge, leading and demonstrating emerging technologies and concepts to teams. 

  • Develop highly performant, scalable, and tested solutions. 

  • Lead application delivery and quality assurance in a complex agile project. 

  • Design, build, test and maintain the front- and back-end systems. 

  • Directly impact the technical vision and goals of the product - lead and manage external agencies to build and deploy a reliable cloud native application. 

  • Clearly communicate technical details to non-technical stakeholders. 

  • Assist consulting team on solutioning to meet client needs


Preferred experience

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering preferred.

  • It is essential that you display expertise (6 years) in at least one and experience (3 years) with at least two of the below related areas, gained ideally within Technology Consulting or fast paced environments:

    - Software Engineering

    - Microservices

    - API’s

    - DevOps (CI/CD + test automation)

  • Hands-on working with both front- (like Vue, Next.js, JS, Typescript, HTML, CSS) and back-end (like Python, SQL, Rust, Go) languages, libraries and frameworks.

  • Hands-on experience building distributed systems, cloud native software applications using test-driven development.

  • Hands-on experience leading code reviews and managing testing & debugging.

  • Hands-on experience and a strong understanding of software architectures and security applicable for all scales of SAAS applications.

  • Excellent understanding of product development lifecycle, user experience and an eye for UI aesthetics.

  • Knowledge of a wide variety of web and mobile technologies and their applicability to various use cases.

  • Ability to drive awareness, and adoption of good application development practices across teams.

  • Ability to handle ambiguity and able to move forward with imperfect information and get things done in a rapidly changing environment
