Who we are 🧬

Depixus® is a fast-growing start-up based in Paris and Cambridge, UK, developing tools for the life sciences. Funded by venture capital, from laboratory to engineering, we are a multidisciplinary team aiming to commercialize our award-winning MAGNA™ instrument.

MAGNA™ will enable researchers to go beyond the limitations of current sequencing to reveal new insights into genome dynamics and will enable important advances in clinical research and drug development.

Description 🔬

We currently have an open position for a “Jurist Intern” to work on a range of exciting projects related to the development of the MAGNA™ instrument.

Directly attached to the HR/Finance division, you ensure Depixus’ regulatory compliance by assisting the teams on all the company’s legal aspects (social, real estate, etc.).

We are looking for our new trainee for a starting date as soon as possible for 6 months.

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to play a key role in a talented and diverse multinational team at a major stage in the company’s evolution.

In the HR & Finance team, you will have to 👨🏾‍💻👩🏼‍💻

• General

  • Ensure the monitoring and legal research in matters of law (regulatory, conventional, financial),

  • Conduct research and prepare support on various fields (real estate, commercial, social …)

  • Support the team on all legal matters,

  • Carry out the closing of minutes from our general meetings

  • Ensure the drafting, proofreading and validation of different types of contracts (provision of services, real estate sub-leasing, partnerships, IT , etc.),

  • Drafting of notes and/or consultations on current projects (legal acts, etc.)

• Participate in transversal projects,

• Social

  • Ensure the review and advice of contractual clauses (non-competition, exclusivity, confidentiality, mobility…)

  • Advise and raise awareness on the protection of personal data (GDPR, CNIL ..),

• Are preparing for a higher legal training such as Master 1 or 2 and are you looking for an internship to finalize your course

• Are rigorous and dynamic

• Have a good level of English
