The position

Job description

Deezer’s Commercial team builds and manages B2B partnerships to drive growth and revenue. This includes distribution deals, where partners such as telcos or digital platforms offer Deezer to their customers, as well as custom music solutions tailored for businesses (from white-label apps to modular features or point-of-sale background music services), whether they’re monetized or ad-supported.

Part of the Commercial division, the Strategic Planning & Analytics team’s mission is to guide Deezer’s global sales & partnership efforts through strategic direction, insights, and measurement.

As a Strategy & Analytics Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the commercial direction of our business. Working closely with key stakeholders across the commercial organization, you’ll deliver actionable insights, rigorous analyses, and strategic recommendations that drive growth, efficiency, and competitive advantage. Your work will directly influence executive decision-making and support our mission of commercial excellence.

As a Commercial Strategy & Performance Analyst, your core responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Planning: Support commercial strategy development and roadmap execution, across all markets and verticals, at sales and partnership stage.

  • Goal & OKR Definition: Contribute to the definition, structuring and tracking of commercial goals and OKRs, helping ensure clarity, alignment, and accountability across the commercial teams.

  • Business Modelling: Evaluate new and existing partnership opportunities through robust business cases and revenue forecasts.

  • Analytics & Insights:  Analyze business performance across sales and account management, identify key trends and growth levers that reflect both market realities and our strategic ambitions.

  • Reporting: Deliver clear reports and presentations to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Finance, Data, Labels Labels and other stakeholders to align insights and drive business priorities to ensure strategic consistency across teams.


Preferred experience

  • 2 to 5 years of professional experience in an analytical or strategic role, within a B2B or Sales-driven organization (e.g. Sales Strategy, Business Operations, Revenue Operations, B2B FP&A, or Strategy Consulting with sales focus) with a strong understanding of the dynamics and metrics that drive commercial success in these environments

  • Demonstrated mastery of revenue models, including business models such as SaaS, recurring revenue, or partnership-driven growth

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets; strong modeling skills and analytical rigor

  • A structured and critical thinker, able to build reliable business cases and recommendations for leadership audiences

  • A collaborative mindset and ability to work closely with commercial teams, both supporting and constructively challenging them

  • Excellent communication skills in English and French (verbal & written)

  • Presentation skills

  • Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects autonomously

  • Curiosity for the streaming industry, digital platforms and tech-driven business model
