Key Responsibilities & KPIsYour mission is structured around two main pillars: Costing & Performance and Circular Supply Chain.

Pillar 1: Industrial Costing & Negotiation Support The primary focus is to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and competitiveness of supplier pricing across the Tent & Sleeping Bag category.Your responsibilities and KPI will be :

  • Price Data Management: Ensure the integration of supplier price submissions into Decathlon's standard tools = > KPI :100% of our Cost Breakdowns (CBD) are fully completed and integrated.
  • Continuous improvement : Communicate the costing tool improvements to the relevant teams = > KPI : 100% of CBD are filled on time.
  • Coordination & Timeline Management of the pricing schedule with various stakeholders = > KPI : > 9 5% of coordination timelines are respected by stakeholders.
  • Financial Analysis & Challenge: Analyze price submissions, ensure their industrial reliability, and challenge supplier Cost Breakdowns on strategic products (analyzing discrepancies vs. N-1 and between suppliers). Animate the production countries & conception team with the discrepancies. = > KPI : Ensure 95% of prices are industrially reliable & achieve > 5 %  reduction in production price compared to last year on strategic products.
  • Drive the integration of AI within the analysis phase to ensure speed and enhance the accessibility of detailed explanations for all stakeholders. = > KPI : Develop & deploy an AI-prompt solution enabling the automated generation of key analyses

Pillar 2: Circular Supply Chain & SAV (Spare Parts) Optimization

You will also work to improve the flow of Spare Parts (SAV) to guarantee the availability of components needed to repair tents rather than discard them. Your main responsibilities will be :

  • SAV Supply Policy: Propose structural improvements to the procurement validation processes for spare parts. = > KPI : Improved Price/Supply performance on key SAV items.
  • Coordination & Timeline Management of the pricing schedule with various stakeholders (Sport, packaging, supplier, …) = > KPI : Respect of deadlines: > 9 5% of coordination timelines are respected by stakeholders.

Preferred experience


    • Educational Background: Student (Master 1 or 2) in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing or Industrial Engineering.

    • Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, and a structured approach to problem-solving. Experience or strong theoretical knowledge of Cost Breakdowns (CBD) is highly desired.

    • Attitude: Proactive, autonomous, organized, a natural negotiator, and highly adaptable to a fast-paced, international, and multicultural environment.

    • Language: Fluent English (spoken and written) is mandatory; French is appreciated.

    • Interest: Sports and/or outdoor activities and a strong awareness of sustainability and circular economy principles.
