Within the Decathlon Group, Sportswear is a new partner that will strengthen Decathlon's overall reach, addressing the growing number of sportswear lifestyle consumers (particularly GenZ) and supporting Decathlon in expressing its identity and values, highlighting its incredible heritage to become part of the culture, and attracting new consumer targets. Sportswear is being structured with a dedicated team, connected to the outside world and other international brands

SPORTSWEAR MAIN CHALLENGES

- Develop a unique and distinctive sportswear offering and gain market share in this specific and colossal market.

- Initiate an internal cultural shift by integrating sportswear as a key element of Decathlon's strategy.

- Create product lines and collections that elevate Decathlon in terms of Style and Culture.

- Embody Decathlon's message and support its brand image objectives.

- Attract new generations Z and Alpha.

- Be relevant in terms of cultural influences and trends while maintaining the connection with sport.

- Revolutionize the go-to-market by offering marketing that matches consumers' aspirations and needs.

- Accelerate our time to market.

- Develop relevant external collaborations.

- Attract new customers & rejuvenate the target audience.

- Transform the company toward a more responsible and generative model

- Position this area as an essential element of the omnichannel journey and accelerate digital transformation

ROLE

  • Participate in writing and deploying the sales project for the sportswear universe

  • Win market share in the world of sportswear to serve the company's economic ambitions

  • Knowledge of the sportswear market, its specific features, vocabulary, cultural influences and mechanisms in the various customs zones 

  • Leading sales milestones = collaborative and efficient

  • Managing country selections 

  • privileged contact for our AMIS partners

  • Contact for project leaders  

  • Alignment and coordination with the Category Managers of the other Fitness - Training - Kids universes

  • Develop a business plan for the product category & a commercial plan.( tactic Y+2 )  

  • Co-Build the best Europe product offer with Online team support or other suppliers (AMI/SRB) and accompany the zone worldwide for their omni selection.

EXPERIENCES

  • Building networks through different experiences

  • 1st Successful experience in sports = Product Manager and/or Supply chain professions 

  • Experience in retail (an international background is a plus)

  • International outlook (understanding of different markets)
