Technology For Value Chain is the center of expertise that develops and operates digital platforms and tools serving the Supply Chain on various topics, particularly within our team focusing on data exchanges.Join the Age of Access Accelerator team !The Age of Access Accelerator team builds data exchange solutions for Decathlon's Value Chain. The solutions we build rely on state-of-the-art open-source technological standards to enable massive real-time data exchanges between Decathlon's information system applications.Our team has built the following products:

• VCStream: A data streaming platform that connects SAP and Apache Kafka. It accelerates delivery and provides user-friendly observability tools for Value Chain data exchanges.
• Autonomous Topic Management (ATM): A Topic as a Service solution that enables Value Chain developers to harness the power of Apache Kafka for their applications by autonomously creating Kafka topics on a shared cluster.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:Within our team, your missions are as follows:

• Ensure the follow-up of the technical vision and strategy;
• Take end-to-end responsibility for the design, implementation, and deployment of new scalable and performant services/solutions;
• Facilitate the design and implementation of features;
• Ensure technical cohesion, application quality, application availability, and data quality;
• Share all skills and knowledge with pedagogy;
• Ensure and evangelize application quality through testing (Unit / End-to-End / ...);
• Documentation writing.

TECHNICAL SCOPE:

• Back-end: Java (17+), Quarkus, Maven.
• Pub/Sub: Kafka + Kafka ecosystem (KConnect, Strimzi, KStream).
• Deployment: Docker, K8S, GCP, Aiven, Vault.
• Observability: Datadog, Splunk, Grafana.
• Deployment: Git, Github Actions, flux.
• Databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
• Testing/perf frameworks: Junit, Cucumber, Gatling.
• Front-end: React.
• Collaborative tools: Confluence, Slack, Jira.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• You have at least 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer and 1 year as a Tech Lead.
• You have a strong technical aptitude and a desire to design things in the best possible way.
• You have an agile mindset focused on continuous improvement and collective intelligence.
• You embody the following qualities: Listening, communication, transparency, autonomy, rigor, organization, and a sense of service.
