Job description

Our Digital Finance team is seeking a Senior Data Quality Manager, based in Paris.

At the heart of Decathlon's finance department and the Digital United network, our Digital Finance teams (>60 teammates) ensure the design, implementation and proper functioning of over 80 digital solutions.

These solutions enable:

  • Finance business unit to carry out its business in an optimized way (accounting closing, purchasing management, economic management, etc.)
  • the digital transformation of Finance at Decathlon by being a force of proposal on new technologies. (automation, RPA, API, Data-centric, AI, Dematerialization, ...)

Dans le cadre de l'ouverture d'un poste dans notre équipe Digital Finance, nous recrutons un-e Data Quality Manager Expérimenté.e, basé-e à Paris.

YOUR CONTRIBUTION

You will collaborate with our product, engineering and data teams over 80 solutions in order to:

  • Support product managers and technical leaders in the implementation of data quality standards in the scope, compliance with these standards, proposals for changes in data use processes or information systems, set up control processes around reference tools, reporting on data performance and quality, Evangelizing the importance of data quality to business stakeholders and explaining best practices.
  • Identify data quality issues, communicate about them and implement remediation processes: ensure compliance with the data quality criteria defined by the data owners. Coordinate and facilitate remediation processes.
  • Identify and analyze internal and external regulatory and business constraints related to the use of data, in order to communicate and enforce them.

Work with Data Owners within a specific data perimeter to define quality thresholds and associated remediation plans with data producers.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL, YOU WILL :

  • Act as a link between data governance teams and IT Finance.
  • Collaborate with development, product, and support teams to ensure data creation processes comply with data quality standards.
  • Collaborate with security teams to ensure data confidentiality and integrity.
  • Design and implement data quality controls and visualization tools, including alerts to detect errors and inconsistencies.
  • Implement tools to automate data control and correction tasks.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of solutions for data cleansing and standardization.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

Hard Skills :

  • You already have significant experience in data quality in a complex organization and in a field with strong regulatory constraints.
  • Strong Python and/or Java programming skills.
  • Experience with Spark, Kafka.
  • Knowledge of AWS S3 and DataBricks cloud technologies.
  • Experience with creating dashboards, preferably in Tableau.
  • Proficient in SQL relational and non-relational NoSQL databases.

Soft Skills :

  • Strong understanding of data security issues.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a distributed and ever-changing environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

The icing on the cake : You have an experience in the Financial environment with distributed teams.
