Your area of work
As a working student (f/m/d) you will support the Cyber Security Automation team in the Group Security department significantly to maintain and enhance information security workflow automations and scripts. The main field of work will involve Jira and connected systems.

Your responsibilities:

• You will assist the Cyber Security Automation team in maintaining, running and improving our Groovy code base that automat our Jira security workflows
• You will gain interesting insights in the field of information security
• Furthermore, you will support the team with testing activities like unit testing
• In addition to these excited tasks, you will gain insights in data processing and business modelling
• You take responsibility for up-to-date documentation
• You will also be developing and maintaining new workflows and data input pipelines

Your profile:

• You are enrolled during the entire period of activity at a state-recognized university as a regular student and have completed at least 4 semesters (Study focus in the field of informatics, mathematics, physics, economics, business studies, humanities or other relevant fields)
• You are interested in software development and the field of information security
• Ideally, you have already gained first practical experience working with ticketing systems like Jira
• You have the ability to work independently, bring in strong communication and teamwork skills and carry a sense of responsibility
• You have good knowledge in at least one of Groovy, Java or Python and experience working with code management tools like GitHub
• Moreover, You are fluent in written and spoken English
