To strengthen our Network Engineering team, we are looking for a motivated and skilled Network Specialist with a strong background in software development.

 

Your Responsibilities:

• Perform administrative tasks on traditional Cisco network devices and within our ACI-based software-defined network environment.
• Design, develop, and maintain automation tools and scripts to manage and optimize network operations (e.g., using Python, TCL, Java).
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional IT teams on infrastructure projects and strategic initiatives.

 

Your Profile:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
• Solid hands-on experience with Cisco routers, switches, and ACI environments.
• Strong understanding of routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation within Cisco environments.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex technical challenges.
• Excellent communication skills – able to explain technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Independent and self-driven working style with a high sense of responsibility.
• Team player with a proactive and structured approach to work.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); German language skills are a plus.

Nice to Have:

• Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP).
• Experience with project management and time-sensitive deliverables.
• Familiarity with agile working methods and intercultural collaboration.
