Job description

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead renovation projects: take full ownership of renovation projects, managing timelines, quality, and budget from concept to completion.

  • Budget & resource management: control budgets like a pro. Deliver high-quality results while keeping finances in check.

  • Quality assurance: uphold Cohabs’ quality standards by ensuring that every renovation not only meets expectations but raises the bar.

  • Collaborative coordination: coordinate seamlessly with internal teams (design, ops, sourcing) and external partners (contractors, architects, city officials) to make projects happen smoothly.

  • Negotiation & problem solving: handle contractors and suppliers with confidence. Negotiate smartly, solve issues on the fly, and adjust plans when needed (without losing sight of the vision).

  • Educational background: a degree in architecture or civil engineering, with a solid technical foundation in building and renovation processes.

  • Team player: you collaborate naturally, learn fast, and enjoy bouncing ideas off others to find the best path forward.

  • Design & sustainability enthusiast: you love great design and care deeply about building sustainably.

  • Language skills: fluent in French and English.

  • Innovative thinking: you don’t just follow the process—you improve it. You’re curious, creative, and always looking to do things better.

Recruitment process

  • Technical interview: a deep dive with Martin, our Chief Development Officer, to explore your technical expertise and your approach to managing renovation projects.

  • Final interview: a conversation with one of our C-level team members to align on vision, values, and future impact.
