We’re looking for an Accounting Manager responsible for full cycle accounting and finance for our EMEA operations. This role will be our first dedicated accounting hire in EMEA and will report to the VP Finance based in the US. This role does not need to be based in Montpellier, but the position will require periodic travel to the Montpellier office to work with the team.

As the Accounting Manager, you’ll be in charge of:

• Maintaining accounting records in compliance with local and Group regulations to ensure accurate and timely Group and local financial reporting. Our accounting is currently being outsourced and we would like to take this in-house.

• Organize, run and monitor the closing process monthly, quarterly and annually for the France entity, including monthly reporting

• Prepare all tax returns on a timely basis in accordance with French regulations.

• Be the main point of contract with our France statutory auditors and help with the consolidated US GAAP audit

• Work with the sales team on invoicing customers and collection efforts

• Develop accounting processes, systems and policies

• Assist with annual budgeting process and monthly budget-to-actual analysis

• Implement a new payroll system and own the payroll process

• Other accounting operations tasks as needed, including procurement, accounts payable, and other areas

To be comfortable in this mission, you should have the following profile:

• Fluent English is required.
• 5-8 years of accounting experience
• Knowledge of US GAAP accounting standards.
• Strong analytical and synthesis skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with SAAS companies, ideally start-ups
• Experience scaling and improving processes, systems, and the team during high growth in a business at scale
