MAIN MISSIONS

CLASQUIN SINGAPORE PTE LTD is recruiting an Operations Supervisor – Air Freight, for its office located in Singapore, to handle import & export air freight operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive customer satisfaction, retention and engagement
• Drive continuous improvement of our operations in line with internal procedures
• Maintain good contact with major carriers and cargo transport service providers to continuously intensify local relationships.
• Monitor the market and adjust pricing and service quotations regularly
• Provide local market feedback to management
• Coordinate with airlines, co-loaders, agent, warehouse, and transport companies for all operational activities on daily basis.
• Ensure full compliance with all applicable Customs and airport regulations
• Generating shipping documents (i.e., invoice, packing list, AWB, etc.)
• Handle customs permit declaration on Tradenet
• Maintaining and updating operational information and documents on CargoWise
• Create, update and refine customer reports
• Perform accurate and timely cost & revenue updates on job files in accordance with corporate KPI; resolution of billing discrepancies with clients and Clasquin Internal
• Accounts Payable - vendor invoice auditing for accuracy, Monitor timely vendor payables
• Generating freight invoices and track payments enhance AR collection on time.
• Collaborate with finance in monitoring credit limits and assist in case of challenges
• Support and resolve claims
• Participate in customer meetings
• Build up close relationship with overseas counterparts in order to push for both ends development
• Accomplish other ad hoc tasks given by the Manager per his/her competence


Preferred experience

• 5 years’ relevant experience in Freight Forwarding operations
• Completion of Customs Competency Test for Declarants
• Diploma in Logistics / Supply Chain or equivalent is a plus
• Experienced in Cargowise is a plus
• Reliable, positive working attitude, pro-active and customer service oriented. Is a good team player, willing to share/help
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good command of written and spoken English
