• Acting as a business partner to our functions that drive our growth with a strong sense of realism when it comes to the daily problems we are solving.

🎯 The 3 objectives we propose you if you join us : 🎯

• You help us build and scale our HR Organization in Europe by implementing new processes and making sure they are applied.
• You are the owner of Payroll in Europe (Spain, Germany and France) and you decline the global vision into local efficiency with the help of HR specialists.
• You are the main point of contact for Chocorians in Europe for many fundamental HR topics.

⚙️ Your daily activities will be divided between these different missions: ⚙️

• Your days are a well structured mix between implementing strategies and processes, helping your fellow Chocorians and making sure that the basics are here on a monthly basis (Making sure everyone get paid in a smooth way)
• All along with the Head of HR, you develop processes in those areas : compensation & benefits, career development, international policy & legal requirements.
• You have the payroll ownership for Europe and you master the local regulations, the payroll system and the specificities of our salaries.
• All along with our Head of Legal, you make sure that we comply with local employment law and you own directly the contracts and other legal documents.
• You are working in a service position, which means that your priority is to help Chocorians that are looking for your support. But, you also work as a partner for the business and you anticipate the needs and the issue to advise them in the development.

💪 What does it take to perform as a Senior HR Manager at Choco: 💪

2 must haves:

• You have at least 3 years of experience within an HR / People operations team.
• You have a deep knowledge of payroll in Europe and especially in Germany.

3 nice to have

• You have a first strong experience in management and will know how to work all along HR specialists and Workplace manager in different countries.
• You have a strong knowledge of German employment law and GDPR policies.
• You have a “Get Sh*t done” mentality, you are willing to do whatever it takes for your company.

And of course, as we are an international company from the beginning, you are fluent in English 🇬🇧 on top of being fluent in German 🇩🇪
