Based in Berlin, we are looking for someone that wants to help us build a department. We are currently handling 3 big countries in Europe (Germany, France and Spain) and we need your help here. HR is a serious mission so you’ll have to be responsible for everything related to contracts, payroll and Legal in Europe. But, we expect you to do way more and to foster your growth, you’ll own projects, develop processes and take full ownership of your topics covering Europe.

We will give you the ownership of everything related to payroll, contracts and legal, one country at a time before you own these topics in Europe.

Your objective will be to scale, adapt or create whatever is missing to the company and the HR team to be extremely efficient.

Partnering with Chocorians (this is how we call ourselves) and be the go to person for every employment  related question. It does not involve recruitment though as we have a whole team in charge of it!

 

⚙️ Your daily activities will be divided between these different missions: ⚙️

Dealing with payroll, crafting the contract, preparing the necessary legal documents to be send to employees

Supervising and answering our HR requests through our ticketing system (Back) 

Implementing projects from scratch all along with our HR Manager and our VP of People. Whether you’ll own it, whether you’ll assist, in both case you’ll be involved in plenty of projects

Keeping our systems, tools and data clean and reliable

Compiling accurate and actionable reports on a regular basis

Be the guiding light for our Chocorians regarding specific topics that demand extra efforts here (Visa, Salary evolutions, conflicts…)

To be able to perform in a startup, you must have worked already in a high demanding company (Consulting) or another startup. Else, show us in your cover letter then you can adapt :)
Suggestion: We are fast paced and creative. We juggle new ideas and have to implement them fast. You have worked in a fast paced or high pressure environment before and know how to handle it. 

We expect you to be diligent, reliable, to strive for high accuracy and to have analytical skills

Your German level is Native and your English is Fluent.
