Job description

Chargemap’s purpose is to increase the adoption of electric vehicles by allowing drivers to charge everywhere. It is our own way to contribute to make the world a better place. This vision is supported by a dedicated team of 25 people working every day on this high potential market, with and for our amazing community of more than 650 000 users all across Europe.

Already highly implemented in France, we are now expanding ourselves to the European market. To be able to proceed this way, we have to create strong partnerships with the different key players of the market. Those partnerships are elementary to ensure the best prices for our customers and to help us grow bigger.
In order to realize this project, we are looking for an E-Mobility Business Developer to join our Sales team.

Working simultaneously with both the Head of Sales and Operations department, your key missions will be:

  • To identify and win new business opportunities on the European market;
  • To qualify and convert leads into new opportunities following defined qualification criteria;
  • To develop new roaming agreements in cooperation with our product team, marketing team, to offer the best EV charging solutions to customers;
  • To represent and present Chargemap and its solution to existing and new business partners;
  • To build relationships with key customer contacts and make Chargemap the preferred partner;
  • To be aware of market trends and stay up to date with innovations.

As your hunting ground is basically the whole European continent, repeated trips out of France (once the sanitary situation will be back on track) will be an important part of the job.

You’ll be working remotely, but we encourage a presence in the head office once a month to maintain direct relationships with the rest of the team.

Wage will be set regarding both profile and experience. We also offer a team bonus based on annual objectives.


Preferred experience

You have significant experience in the EV market, ideally obtained by working for one of the main E-Mobility players (such as eMSPs or CPOs for example,…)

Empathetic, with a high degree in negotiation and customer-oriented, you know perfectly how to use your qualities to create new partnerships and negotiate them in the best way. As you’ll be speaking to other European countries, your English must be fluent…Another language would be a plus (ideally German).
